SharePoint Portal Specialist - Vykin Corporation, San Diego, CA


Vykin Corporation is currently looking for an experienced Secret cleared SharePoint Specialists to join our team in San Diego, CA on the North Island. We are a small defense contracting company that is veteran owned servicing the US Department of Defense. Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the customer's Unclassified/Classified Websites and SharePoint portal. 
  • Management all SharePoint licenses supporting customer's users.

Qualifications:

  • Microsoft SharePoint Certification required

Job Purpose:
Provide hands-on technical support including support for day-to-day operations of all company-standard hardware and software technologies for desktop, laptop, and System Management platforms. Support CyrusOne Corporate IT Infrastructure, participate in technical projects as needed and properly utilize the CyrusOne ticketing system for logging, tracking, and communication of technical support issues. 

Essential Functions:
  • Provides standard desktop and local area network support and analysis
  • Serves as a technical expert regarding all aspects of desktop computer support

Position Purpose:

Key Accountabilities

The department of Information Technology at Mercy Corps’ Portland headquarters coordinates, facilitates, and supports the agency’s use of computer technology and telecommunications to improve organizational agility and to achieve agency goals.  The IT team provides planning support and technical assistance to new and existing Mercy Corps country programs.  The team also works to strengthen the agency’s abilities to use Internet-based information services, including its abilities to model and transfer these services to local partners.

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:
The IT Support Specialist will provide diverse IT services to end users at headquarters and our global team in the field with a high level of efficiency and quality customer service.           

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
